Sheri
Rose Warshauer For the past few years, I have been working on paintings that examine the psychology of contemporary upper class culture. My recent work studies the relationship between people and the way they structure their personal space and belongings to convey their personality and status. These homes not only represent the personality of the owner, but also the collective identity of the time period. People use art, architecture and furniture as a way to articulate the self without realizing these are really expressions of the fads and fashions of their time. |
